Key Responsibilities
As the Fleet Manager, your main responsibility is to manage and oversee all aspects of fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are available, cost-effective, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you need a strong educational and professional background:
Minimum Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Fleet Management, or Supply Chain

7–10 years’ experience in a fleet management role

At least 5 years managing a team of 10+ people (in-person and remotely)

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with SAP and Visio is advantageous

Valid Code B driver’s license
-
Sound knowledge of South African road traffic regulations and OHASA
Desirable Experience

Financial management including budgeting and cost tracking

Vendor management and contract negotiation

Strong understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001:2008)
