Key Responsibilities

As the Fleet Manager, your main responsibility is to manage and oversee all aspects of fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are available, cost-effective, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Minimum Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Fleet Management, or Supply Chain

  • 7–10 years’ experience in a fleet management role

  • At least 5 years managing a team of 10+ people (in-person and remotely)

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with SAP and Visio is advantageous

  • Valid Code B driver’s license

  • Sound knowledge of South African road traffic regulations and OHASA

Desirable Experience

  • Financial management including budgeting and cost tracking

  • Vendor management and contract negotiation

  • Strong understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001:2008)
