Brights Hardware is looking for a detail-oriented End Controller to join our Frontline Department in Brackenfell, Western Cape. If you have retail loss prevention experience and strong invoice reconciliation skills, this is your opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading hardware retail store.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Verify invoices and cash slips – Ensure goods match purchase records
✔ Check transfer slips & delivery notes – Accurately reconcile with stock
✔ Maintain error report book – Log discrepancies and report to management
✔ Assist with loss prevention – Identify and prevent potential fraud or theft
✔ Participate in stock takes – Ensure inventory accuracy
✔ Ensure store security & compliance – Uphold company standards in stock control
✔ Perform general administrative tasks – Support daily operations as required
Minimum Requirements
✔ Matric Certificate (or equivalent) OR 120 credits from 3 completed Intercept courses
✔ Grade C Security Certification (Advantageous for loss prevention)
✔ 2+ years’ experience in stock control, inventory management, or security in a retail store
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
✔ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
✔ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
✔ Good numerical and reconciliation skills
