Job Description

Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations and ensure high service standards are maintained at a site in Kameeldrift, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that work schedules/job cards are in place for each position, ensuring relevance to the site.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns to the manager daily.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistently high service standards are met.
• Ensure staff are correctly dressed, displaying name badges, and upholding the company image.
• Ensure that cleaning methodologies adhere strictly to company policies, quality programmes, and legislation.
• Manage company assets by performing monthly spot checks on high-value items and ensuring equipment is kept in good condition, repaired, and serviced as needed.
• Maintain personal health, hygiene, and professional appearance.
• Respond to management requests promptly and take necessary actions.
• Maintain morale and motivation through good communication.
• Ensure work schedules/job cards are accurately maintained.

Skills and Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Experience in hospitality and safety standards management.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work long hours, after hours, and on some weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum Matric/Grade 12.
• Tertiary qualifications are highly advantageous.
