Position Overview

Fidelity Services Group, South Africa’s leading integrated security solutions provider, is seeking two experienced Operations Managers for its Robertville Branch in Roodepoort, Gauteng. This permanent role is ideal for dynamic leaders who can oversee site-specific security operations, ensure service level agreement (SLA) compliance, and maintain exceptional client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of operational efficiency and client satisfaction across multiple security sites. Core duties include:

  • Client Relations & SLA Compliance

    • Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients regarding security services delivered.

    • Provide daily feedback to both Fidelity management and clients to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.

  • Operational Oversight

    • Ensure the timeous posting of Security Officers for both day and night shifts, guaranteeing full site coverage.

    • Audit access registers daily, generate exception reports, and continually assess premises for potential security risks.

  • Reporting & Investigations

    • Compile, distribute, and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

    • Oversee and document incident, accident, and investigation reports, including obtaining statements from all involved parties.

  • Staff Management

    • Lead, mentor, and discipline team members in accordance with labour regulations.

    • Represent the company at CCMA and Labour Court proceedings when required.

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Evaluate service levels and recommend proactive improvements to enhance security measures and deter criminal activity.


Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must meet these essential criteria:

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.

  • PSIRA Accreditation: Valid Grade A or B registration and up-to-date certification.

  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of site supervisory or management experience within the security industry.

  • Leadership: Proven staff management experience is essential.

  • Technical Skills: Computer literacy and strong administrative ability.

  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport.

  • Integrity: No criminal record or pending cases; clear background checks required.

  • Fitness: Physically fit and in good health to manage demanding site operations.

  • Location: Must reside in the greater Johannesburg area or be willing to relocate at own cost.
