Position Overview

Spitz is seeking a Flexi Store Assistant to join its luxury retail team in Ballito, located along the Dolphin Coast. This part-time opportunity is ideal for entry-level candidates with a passion for high-end fashion, footwear, and delivering world-class customer service in a premium retail environment.

The role requires flexibility, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining Spitz’s luxury brand standards while supporting daily store operations and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Control & Accuracy

  • Perform cash desk duties efficiently with zero tolerance for variances
  • Follow daily cash control, reconciliation, and banking procedures
  • Accurately process manual and electronic transactions when required

Stock Management & Store Operations

  • Execute daily stock receiving, transfers, and merchandising procedures
  • Assist with customer orders and ensure accurate and timely fulfilment
  • Conduct weekly stock counts and maintain organised storerooms
  • Complete shoe pairing exercises to ensure stock integrity

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Deliver a premium and personalised shopping experience
  • Build strong customer relationships through expert product knowledge
  • Uphold luxury retail standards through professionalism and enthusiasm

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
  • 6 months to 1 year retail experience (fashion or luxury retail preferred)
  • Passion for premium fashion, footwear, and customer engagement
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods
