We are seeking a Temporary Healthcare Administrator / Receptionist to support administration at Tokai Estate, covering planned, unplanned, and sick leave of administrative staff on a service-level agreement.

This role is perfect for organised, professional administrators who enjoy supporting people and healthcare operations.


Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative and reception duties to ensure the smooth running of the healthcare facility. This includes managing communications, patient interactions, billing, and supporting the administrative team.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet visitors courteously
  • Answer and direct all telephone calls professionally
  • Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally, and electronically
  • Open, stamp, and distribute incoming mail daily
  • Maintain professional communication within the Healthcare facility
  • Check diaries for appointments, messages, and instructions and inform relevant departments/personnel
  • Prepare starter packs for new employees and assist with fingerprint registration when required
  • Attend to deliveries, queries, maintenance, and subcontractors entering the facility
  • Assist with billing, charge sheets, and patient payments upon discharge
  • Support the administration team to ensure efficient facility operations

Requirements

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or receptionist role
  • Hospital or medical environment experience advantageous
  • Administration qualification advantageous
  • Computer literate (Google Docs experience advantageous)

Working Hours & Salary

  • Reception: Monday – Sunday, 07h00 – 19h00
  • Administrator: Monday – Friday, 07h00 – 17h00
  • Salary is market-related, based on qualifications and experience
