Grain Field Chickens (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of VKB Group, operates in the integrated broiler industry with a poultry processing facility in Reitz. The company offers graduates an opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional finance environment.
Minimum Requirements
✔ Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) or National Diploma (NQF 6)
✔ Qualification in BCom Accounting / Financial Management
✔ Must be unemployed and require practical experience
✔ Must not have previously participated in an internship or graduate programme
✔ Computer literate in Microsoft Office
✔ Willing to work overtime when required
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with creditors and debtors administration
• Process invoices and maintain supplier records
• Prepare customer invoices and follow up on payments
• Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts
• Maintain the general ledger and financial records
• Assist with management reports and financial audits
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes
• Maintain the company’s asset register
Skills Required
✔ Strong computer literacy
✔ Understanding of financial systems and VAT requirements
✔ Excellent communication skills
✔ Attention to detail and analytical thinking
✔ Good organisational and time-management skills
✔ Ability to work independently and in a team
