Position Overview

TWK Agri is currently recruiting a Cashier to join the Trade Division retail team in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal.

This role focuses on processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will handle cash and card payments, maintain an organised checkout area, and assist with general store duties such as stocking shelves and stock control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bag, box, and wrap merchandise while preparing packages for shipment.
  • Compute and record transactions accurately.
  • Count cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure correct balances.
  • Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins.
  • Identify prices of goods and calculate bills using cash registers, scanners, or calculators.
  • Greet customers entering the store and provide professional service.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or correct change to customers.
  • Maintain records of daily transactions and balances.
  • Receive payments via cash or card.
  • Keep checkout areas clean, organised, and efficient.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
