Lesaka is currently recruiting an ERP & Billing Program Compliance and Data Administrator to support its Merchant Division operations in Johannesburg.
Position Overview
The ERP & Billing Program Compliance and Data Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the company’s ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), CRM (Salesforce), and billing systems.
The role focuses on maintaining data accuracy, billing quality control, compliance reporting, and financial administration. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams including Sales, Finance, Contracts, IT, HR, and CRM/ERP program managers to ensure operational excellence across the merchant ecosystem.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented administrator with strong analytical skills and experience in financial data management, reporting, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Accuracy & Revenue Assurance
- Maintain accurate billing-related data to support merchant billing processes
- Manage data updates including new business onboarding, quantity changes, and VAS onboarding/offboarding
- Ensure high levels of data integrity across systems
- Support revenue assurance strategies through accurate financial data management
SOX Evidence Administration
Act as the SOX Administrator for Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central:
- Generate and prepare compliance reports for sign-off
- Update data where required and ensure documentation accuracy
- Upload signed-off compliance evidence to the SOX Evidence Audit platform
- Maintain evidence records for Access Management and Change Management processes
- Collaborate with auditors during SOX compliance reviews
Billing Quality Control
- Review billing-impacting data daily to ensure accuracy for merchant invoices
- Collaborate with Finance teams to support accurate billing runs
- Assist the Billing Product Owner with monthly reconciliations and reporting
- Ensure accurate billing statements for merchants
KPI Dashboard Monitoring
- Monitor KPI dashboards for changes and anomalies
- Alert relevant teams to potential data inconsistencies
- Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions
Billing Data Audits
- Conduct regular billing data audits to identify inconsistencies or duplicates
- Improve billing data quality across systems
- Work closely with IT and data teams to resolve billing data issues
- Generate reports on billing data integrity and quality metrics
User Onboarding & Offboarding
Ensure compliant system access management for internal users across:
- Salesforce
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Responsibilities include managing onboarding, offboarding, and access permissions.
License Budget Management
Manage and track system licensing budgets for tools such as:
- Salesforce
- Business Central
- SAP 1
- Gearset
- Flowgear
Ensure accurate reconciliation of license usage versus budget allocation.
Supplier Payment Coordination
Support the ERP & Billing Program Manager and CRM Program Manager by:
- Processing supplier payments
- Managing budget tracking
- Ensuring timely payment for service providers
Budget Monitoring
- Track actual spending versus budget allocations
- Manage budget line items across ERP and CRM programs
- Support financial reporting for operational leadership
Minimum Requirements
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 24 months experience in data capture or data administration
- Minimum 12 months experience in data quality control (QC)
- At least 3 years of experience in reconciliations and data reporting
- Experience with SOX compliance processes
- Knowledge of FICA, RICA, and POPIA compliance requirements
- Experience with invoicing, billing statements, and financial administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
