Position Overview
The Creditors Clerk will be responsible for managing the processing of creditors’ invoices, reconciliations, payments, and filing, while following up with suppliers and branches to ensure accurate and timely account management. This role contributes to smooth financial operations and helps maintain strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Process creditors’ invoices accurately and timeously
- File and maintain financial documentation and records
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Follow up with suppliers and branches regarding outstanding invoices or discrepancies
- Process payments in line with approved financial procedures
- Perform general office duties as required
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting as subjects
- Relevant work experience advantageous
- Computer literate with proficiency in standard office software
- Honest, reliable, and goal-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with suppliers, branches, and colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
