Position Overview
The Aftercare Assistant Locum role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and supporting their development beyond the classroom. Based in Centurion, this position focuses on supervising learners, assisting with daily routines, and ensuring a safe and engaging after-school environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise learners during lunch routines, including serving and clearing meals
- Assist with aftercare supervision and structured activities
- Support learners with homework and basic academic tasks
- Maintain a safe, caring, and structured environment for children
- Work collaboratively with educators and school staff
- Ensure discipline, engagement, and well-being of all learners
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or environment
- Strong communication skills (with both children and parents)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for childcare and learner development
