Position Overview
Rosebank College is looking for a dynamic Student Advisor to join their team in Bloemfontein.
This role focuses on student recruitment, brand awareness, and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for candidates interested in sales, marketing, and education careers in South Africa. You will play a key role in guiding prospective students toward the right academic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
🎯 Creating Brand Awareness
- Conduct school presentations to matric learners
- Promote the college brand in new and existing areas
- Represent the institution at career expos and events
- Build strong relationships with educators and stakeholders
- Conduct marketing outreach, including cold calling parents
🎓 Student Recruitment & Advisory
- Follow up with prospective students and applicants
- Conduct career consultations and interviews
- Assist students with application processes
- Respond to online and telephonic enquiries
- Guide students on application deadlines and programme choices
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 1–2 years’ experience in sales or customer service
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Advantageous Qualifications
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in:
- Marketing
- Public Relations
- Communications
