Position Overview
This Telemarketing Agent job in Cape Town is designed for driven sales professionals who thrive in a target-driven outbound call centre environment. The role focuses on closing deals, achieving high sales volumes, and delivering exceptional customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Targets
- Achieve and exceed sales targets in a high-volume outbound dialler environment
- Consistently deliver strong sales results and meet performance KPIs
- Maintain productivity, adherence, and turnaround time standards
Customer Engagement & Sales Conversion
- Present and promote products/services to qualified leads
- Handle objections confidently and close sales effectively
- Deliver a professional, results-driven customer experience
Data Management & Compliance
- Accurately capture and update customer information in real time
- Ensure compliance with company policies and data integrity standards
Performance Ownership
- Take full accountability for personal sales performance
- Maintain focus and consistency in a pressurised environment
- Adapt quickly to changing sales strategies and targets
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 (Required)
Experience & Skills
- 2–3 years’ outbound sales or telemarketing experience in a contact centre (Preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong objection-handling and closing skills
- Experience with dialler systems and high-volume calling environments
- Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette
- Fluent in English plus two additional South African languages (Preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email, Internet)
Additional Requirements
- Clear criminal and ITC record (mandatory)
- Must not be debarred in terms of the FAIS Act
- Strong understanding of performance-driven contact centre environments
