Position Overview

The Administrator: Dealer Warranty at Motus Toyota Strydom Park is responsible for ensuring warranty claims are accurately processed and submitted in line with company policy and Toyota procedures.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, and familiarity with warranty processes. Ideal candidates are looking for administrative roles in the automotive sector and want to contribute to smooth dealership operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain accurate information on warranty claims regarding customer complaints and defects
  • Collect all relevant documentation for claims processing
  • Capture warranty claims on the E-Toyota system
  • Ensure claim tags are attached to parts and forwarded to Toyota SA in a timely manner
  • Monitor suspense files daily and control claims status
  • Maintain a claims register and track payments
  • Assess vehicle eligibility for warranty work
  • Ensure all warranty parts are tagged and stored correctly by technicians
  • Submit warranty claims in line with distributor guidelines
  • Attend all warranty training courses provided by the distributor
  • Stay up to date with Toyota Warranty Policies, Bulletins, and Special Service Campaigns
  • Follow up on service campaigns as instructed by the distributor
  • Assist with additional reasonable duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Computer literate (essential)
  • Clear criminal record
  • Knowledge of warranty procedures
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Motor industry experience (advantageous)
