Position Overview
The Finance and Insurance Manager at Isuzu/Renault Zambezi is responsible for supporting the dealership network by delivering efficient finance and insurance solutions, maximizing gross profit, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
This role is ideal for professionals seeking to specialize in vehicle finance, insurance products, and dealership profitability while maintaining the highest standards of governance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on performance targets aligned with budgets and sales goals in a high-volume dealership
- Maximize second gross profit through finance and insurance product sales
- Ensure compliance with governance, legislation, and dealership policies (NCA, CRA, FAIS, FICA)
- Conduct financial needs analyses and provide tailored finance and insurance solutions
- Manage and maintain the finance and insurance debtor’s book and related administration
- Provide operational support for finance and insurance initiatives contributing to dealership growth
- Educate and inform customers on finance and insurance products to enhance retention and increase revenue
- Record and report transactional activities to provide timely and accurate decision-making information
- Continuously enhance competence through industry knowledge and professional development
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric with a relevant diploma (Credit Management Diploma advantageous)
- Regulatory exam, NC Accreditation, Retail or Short-Term Insurance qualification with minimum 120 credits
- FSP accreditation with s13 mandate to perform NCA functions
- 3+ years’ experience in a finance, insurance, or customer service role within automotive retail or banking
- Current knowledge of vehicle legislation, trade practices, and dealership procedures
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong customer service, sales management, and compliance knowledge
