Position Overview: Finance Analyst
CBRE Excellerate is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst in Johannesburg to support end-to-end financial management of client accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals searching for:

The role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with contractual and accounting standards across multiple accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client contracts and Master Service Agreements (MSA)
- Ensure accurate client billing aligned with contractual terms
- Review open purchase orders (POs) with operations teams
- Monitor correct GL (General Ledger) and cost center allocations
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare and report Year-to-Date (YTD) financial results
- Compile balance sheets and profit & loss (P&L) statements
- Post and review journal entries with finance leads
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, and reconciliations
- Perform monthly balance sheet account analysis
- Identify and resolve financial discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Maintain financial processes aligned with GAAP and tax regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Finance
- Accounting
- Or a related field
- Proven experience in:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- General ledger accounting
- Financial reporting
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Strong experience with SAP financial systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, reporting)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
