Position Overview: Real Estate Transaction Manager
CBRE Excellerate is seeking a Real Estate Transaction Manager (12-month contract) in Lagos to oversee leasing, relocation, and portfolio optimization strategies.

You will be responsible for managing lease transactions, negotiating agreements, and aligning property strategies with client business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Commercial Strategy
- Develop and implement leasing strategies including rental positioning and tenant mix
- Support pre-leasing initiatives aligned with project financing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely occupancy and project delivery
Marketing & Broker Management
- Drive marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms
- Coordinate events, exhibitions, and property showcases
- Manage third-party brokers and maintain tenant registration records
Leasing Transactions & Negotiation
- Manage property viewings and leasing enquiries
- Conduct tenant due diligence (KYC and financial assessments)
- Prepare and negotiate lease agreements and commercial terms
- Lead negotiations with anchor and multi-floor tenants
Transaction Management & Close-Out
- Coordinate legal documentation and finalize transactions
- Oversee tenant handover to property management teams
- Maintain leasing trackers and provide regular reports
Business Development & Portfolio Growth
- Identify and originate new leasing and transaction opportunities
- Support strategic expansion and portfolio optimization
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with client policies and regulatory standards
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with property transactions
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate transaction records and reporting
- Monitor lease expirations, budgets, and performance metrics
Project Coordination
- Work with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Assist with asset disposals and sale-and-leaseback agreements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Real Estate
- Facilities Management
- Business or Finance
- Or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in real estate transactions or estate management
- Experience working with multinational clients is advantageous
