VKB Brokers (Pty) Ltd, part of VKB Finansiële Dienste, specializes in financial and insurance services for agricultural clients. The team ensures operational efficiency, accurate recordkeeping, and compliance with industry legislation.
Position Overview
The Temporary Admin Assistant will provide administrative support for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on managing broker files, maintaining accurate digital records, and ensuring compliance with FAIS and other regulatory requirements. This position is critical during periods of increased workload to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle claims and other administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records of client and risk information
- Sort, organize, and update client files, including those from brokers who have exited the business
- Prepare, update, and maintain physical and digital client records
- Scan documentation and upload to OneDrive to comply with FAIS legislation
- Ensure all documents are properly indexed and stored
- Support the VKB Brokers team with ad hoc tasks during cleanup and compliance projects
- Assist with general administrative duties as required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF 4 qualification
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately with high volumes of documentation
- Computer literate, especially Microsoft Office and basic digital filing systems
- Reliable, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality
