Position Overview
The Merchandiser role is ideal for candidates seeking retail jobs in KwaZulu-Natal, entry-level store assistant positions, or customer service careers in South Africa.
You will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly displayed, stores are well-organised, and customers receive excellent in-store assistance.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Assist and advise customers in-store
- Provide product knowledge and support to shoppers
- Ensure a positive customer experience
Merchandising & Store Presentation
- Ensure products are properly displayed on shelves
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organised store environment
- Support promotional and marketing displays
Stock Control
- Assist with monthly stock counts
- Monitor and manage stock levels
- Support accurate stock handling and reporting
General Store Duties
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
- Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations
- Maintain compliance with store standards
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12
Skills & Experience
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of hardware or retail stock (advantageous)
- Good marketing and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Hard-working and reliable
- Bilingual (English & isiZulu)
