Position Overview
The Junior Branch Marketer – NTK Retail (Tolwe) role is ideal for candidates seeking entry-level agricultural retail jobs, sales assistant roles, or branch marketing careers in South Africa.
You will be responsible for selling merchandise, supporting stock control, assisting customers, and driving sales performance within the retail branch.
This position is suitable for individuals who are customer-focused, energetic, and eager to grow in agricultural sales and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
- Sell merchandise according to set targets
- Market agricultural products and commodities
- Promote irrigation and electrical equipment products
Stock Control
- Assist with stock ordering and replenishment
- Monitor stock availability and branch inventory
- Support stock control procedures
Customer Service
- Provide excellent in-store customer service
- Assist clients via phone and email
- Resolve customer queries professionally
General Duties
- Perform ad hoc branch tasks as required
- Maintain high service standards
- Support team operations and branch performance
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
Experience
- 1–2 years’ experience in irrigation (advantageous)
- Agricultural retail experience (advantageous)
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of irrigation systems or electrical equipment (advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to undergo continuous training
- Team-oriented mindset
