About the Role

The purpose of this role is to achieve sales targets while promoting the Auto Pedigree brand. As a Sales Representative, you will actively engage with customers, identify opportunities, and close vehicle sales while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Representative

Sales Performance & Targets

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Actively seek new business opportunities and generate leads
  • Drive strategies to grow and retain the customer base
  • Identify new revenue streams and sales opportunities

Customer Engagement & Sales Process

  • Engage with customers both telephonically and face-to-face
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles
  • Negotiate deals and close sales effectively

  • Handle escalations and provide feedback when necessary

Product Knowledge & Demonstration

Minimum Requirements – Sales Representative

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) — essential

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years customer service and sales experience — essential
  • Proven sales track record — essential
  • Automotive industry experience — advantageous

Legal & Other Requirements:

  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license (unendorsed) — essential
  • Own reliable transport — essential

Technical Skills:

  • Computer literacy — essential
  • Understanding of retail compliance — advantageous
  • Knowledge of local languages — advantageous
  • Understanding of Auto Pedigree products and services — desirable
