Position Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is recruiting a Health Consultant for its Woodlands store in Pretoria. This role focuses on vitamins, supplements, and health products, making it ideal for candidates passionate about health, wellness, and retail sales.
You will be responsible for promoting and selling Dis-Chem Health Focus products while delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Assist and advise customers on vitamins, supplements, and health products
- Deliver exceptional customer service and product recommendations
- Promote Dis-Chem Health Focus products effectively
- Achieve monthly team, brand, and vendor sales targets
Merchandising & Stock Control
- Ensure health department displays are fully stocked and well presented
- Implement promotional displays and merchandising materials
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Assist with back shopping and stock replenishment
Product Knowledge & Promotion
- Stay updated on new health products and supplement trends
- Ensure promotional items are visible and available
- Follow store layout guidelines for the health department
Administrative Duties
- Adhere to departmental processes and procedures
- Assist with stock control, weekly returns, and reporting
- Analyse basic sales and stock reports
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum 6 months’ sales experience in a health, vitamins, or supplements environment
- Strong command of the English language
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Sound numerical skills
- Willingness to work retail hours
Advantageous Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or a related health field
- Retail sales experience
- Experience in health products, vitamins, or supplements
- Ability to speak a second language commonly used in the area
