About the Role

TWK Agri is seeking a Cashier to join the Trade Division in Bethal, Mpumalanga. This role involves managing transactions efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Bag, box, and wrap merchandise; prepare packages for shipment
• Compute and record transactions accurately
• Count cash at the start of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and change is adequate
• Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins
• Identify prices, tabulate bills using calculators, registers, or scanners
• Greet customers and provide friendly service
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers
• Maintain periodic balance sheets of transactions
• Accept payments via cash or card
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized
• Stock shelves and update price tags
• Conduct stock takes

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Educational Requirement: Matric / Grade 12
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Prior cashier experience
  • Ability to handle money transactions accurately
• Personal Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
