Role Overview
Cape Union Mart is seeking a Part-Time Sales Assistant for their Old Khaki store in La Lucia Mall, Durban. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining in-store standards, and driving sales while adhering to company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceed customer expectations by utilizing customer selling techniques.
- Ensure stock loss controls are adhered to in-store.
- Consistently meet individual sales targets.
- Maximize sales by identifying opportunities to increase turnover.
- Maintain store housekeeping and uphold visual merchandising standards to optimize sales.
- Create an inspiring and enjoyable environment for customers.
- Handle all purchases, including verifying and processing payments such as cash, cards, and vouchers.
- Ensure outgoing stock is scanned and paid for before leaving the store.
- Process loyalty cards, including those from partner organizations.

Required Skills and Experience
- Experience: Up to 6 months of retail experience.
- Education: Matric or equivalent qualification.
