Job Description
The learner of this Coca-Cola Beverages Learnership – Sales will be part of the Commercial Department, gaining hands-on experience in sales, customer service, and marketing. This structured 12-month learnership program is designed to equip participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to excel in a sales-driven environment.
The program will focus on:

Understanding the fundamentals of sales and marketing

Implementing merchandising and branding strategies

Developing essential business communication and negotiation skills

Gaining practical experience in engaging with customers, clients, and sales teams
This opportunity allows candidates to work closely with experienced professionals while learning from a globally recognized brand. The successful candidates will report directly to the Team Leader: Sales and will receive mentorship throughout the program.
Key Purpose of the Learnership
The purpose of this learnership is to equip learners with the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to excel in the sales and marketing industry. Through practical training and theoretical learning, participants will:

Gain an in-depth understanding of how to grow sales volume in a competitive market

Learn the process of order-taking and effective stock management

Implement and monitor merchandising standards for direct and indirect customers

Develop problem-solving skills to overcome sales challenges

Understand the importance of customer service excellence and building long-term business relationships
Upon successful completion of the program, learners will receive a National Certificate in Marketing (NQF Level 4), an accredited qualification that provides valuable career opportunities in sales, marketing, and business development.

Minimum Requirements for Application
Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (minimum 40%)

Two South African languages passed with at least 40%

Diploma or Degree (Preferred but not mandatory)

Valid Driver’s License (Advantageous but not required)
Additional Requirements:

Must be a South African Citizen

Must be an Employment Equity Candidate

Must be unemployed at the time of application

Must be between the ages of 18-35
-
Must be willing to commit to the full 12-month learnership
