Job Description: What You’ll Be Doing as a Payroll Administrator

In this full-time, office-based role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Capturing and verifying staff information on VIP Payroll and other systems

  • Processing monthly and annual payroll submissions for internal and external stakeholders

  • Handling SARS E-filing submissions, EMP201 and EMP501 reconciliations

  • Issuing IRP5 forms and managing PAYE penalty submissions

  • Managing UIF and tax directive processing, leave balances, and freelancer invoices

  • Assisting with payroll reconciliations, deductions, and third-party payments

  • Billing clients using CaseWare, with a focus on accuracy and time efficiency

  • Liaising with department managers, auditors, and external clients for query resolution

  • Ensuring monthly targets, billing, and time sheets are accurately completed
