Position Overview

The Griller is responsible for preparing and grilling menu items according to Pedros’ quality, hygiene, and safety standards. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive under pressure, have attention to detail, and are committed to delivering exceptional food consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, season, and grill chicken and other menu items according to approved recipes
  • Monitor cooking temperatures, timing, and portion control
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Pedros brand standards
  • Conduct daily equipment checks and report faults promptly
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen
  • Manage stock rotation (FIFO) to minimise waste
  • Clean grills, workstations, and utensils regularly
  • Assist with stock counts and ingredient preparation
  • Support kitchen operations during peak periods
  • Comply with all company health, safety, and operational policies

Competencies Required

  • Attention to detail and quality orientation
  • Time management and reliability
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
  • Basic technical cooking and food preparation skills
  • Strong awareness of health and safety standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or grilling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
