Position Overview

The Senior Creditors’ Clerk is responsible for managing supplier accounts, ensuring accurate capture of invoices and credit notes, and performing reconciliations to maintain strong financial control. This role supports smooth operations across BKB’s finance division.


Key Responsibilities

  • Capture nominal invoices and credit notes accurately
  • Perform reconciliations of supplier accounts
  • Maintain copies of expense documents using SharePoint
  • Conduct general administration duties to support the finance team
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and policies
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers
  • Support timely reporting and resolution of creditor queries

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with Accounting

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar creditors or finance role
  • Strong technical and professional accounting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar document management systems
