Position Overview
The Waitron (Server) is responsible for delivering exceptional dine-in service and ensuring customers enjoy a welcoming and satisfying restaurant experience. This role is ideal for candidates looking for waiter jobs, hospitality roles, or entry-level restaurant jobs in Cape Town.
You will be the face of customer service, ensuring every guest receives friendly, efficient, and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Present menus and explain daily specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve meals and drinks promptly and efficiently
- Check customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Clear and reset tables quickly for new guests
- Process customer payments when required
- Handle customer complaints professionally and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and cashier teams
Minimum Requirements
- Previous hospitality or waitron experience (preferred)
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
