Position Overview
Faircape Group is seeking experienced and compassionate Carers to join their team at Noordhoek Manor, ideally suited for candidates residing in the Fish Hoek area.
This role is perfect for individuals passionate about elderly care and patient support. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care & Daily Support
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide hygiene care according to individualised care plans
- Assist with feeding and mealtime support where required
Emotional Support & Companionship
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Accompany residents on walks and daily routines
- Encourage participation in activities and social programmes
Patient Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor residents’ health and behaviour
- Report any concerns or changes to senior staff immediately
- Record all activities using the Healthware system
Safety & Compliance
- Follow infection control and health & safety procedures
- Participate in night shift monitoring (camera watch duties)
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carer or in a similar environment
- Carer training from a recognised institution (advantageous)
- SETA accreditation (advantageous)
- Knowledge of:
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
- Rehabilitative care
- Clear health, criminal, and credit record
- Contactable written references (mandatory)

Working Hours & Benefits
- Shifts: 16.25 shifts per month
- Day Shift: 07:00 – 19:00
- Night Shift: 19:00 – 07:00 (includes night shift allowance)
