Griller Job Overview

The Griller is responsible for preparing and cooking chicken and other menu items according to Pedros’ approved recipes and quality standards. The role requires strict adherence to food safety procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during busy periods.


Key Responsibilities

As a Griller at Pedros, your duties will include:

  • Preparing, seasoning, and grilling chicken and other menu items
  • Monitoring cooking temperatures, timing, and portion control
  • Ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
  • Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting any faults
  • Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
  • Managing stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out)
  • Minimising food waste
  • Cleaning grills, utensils, and workstations
  • Assisting with stock counts and ingredient preparation
  • Supporting kitchen operations during peak hours
  • Following all health, safety, and company policies

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates should have:

  • At least 1 year of previous kitchen or grilling experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
