Griller Job Overview

The Griller is responsible for preparing and grilling chicken and other menu items according to Pedros’ recipes and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to hygiene and food safety.

This is a hands-on kitchen job suited to energetic individuals who enjoy working under pressure and maintaining high standards.


Key Responsibilities

As a Griller at Pedros, your duties will include:

  • Preparing, seasoning, and grilling chicken and menu items according to approved recipes
  • Monitoring cooking temperatures, cooking times, and portion sizes
  • Ensuring all food meets Pedros quality and presentation standards
  • Performing daily equipment checks and reporting faults
  • Maintaining strict hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Managing stock rotation using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method
  • Minimising food waste
  • Cleaning grills, utensils, and workstations
  • Assisting with stock counts and ingredient preparation
  • Supporting kitchen operations during busy periods
  • Complying with all health, safety, and company policies

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

  • Previous kitchen or grilling experience (preferred)
