Purpose of the Role:

Maximize sales of Clover and Principal products in smaller outlets by identifying opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring optimal product availability.


Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4.
  • Experience:
    • 2–5 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Valid Code 10 motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Development:

  • Increase sales volumes in assigned stores.
  • Source and maintain new business to expand the active buying customer base.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Support customers with appropriate sales procedures.
  • Address customer needs with tailored solutions.

Product and Stock Management:

  • Ensure constant stock availability to minimize returns.
  • Maintain product facings in outlets.
  • Monitor and report on sales volumes and pricing.
  • Implement negotiated pricing and optimize the basket of Principal products.
  • Monitor and ensure fridge compliance for stocked products.

Planning and Administration:

  • Prepare route plans and adhere to call cycles.
  • Complete sales administration tasks efficiently.
  • Liaise with customers at the store level.
  • Record and report on sales per outlet and product category.

Promotions and Marketing:

  • Negotiate the introduction of new products and principals.
  • Arrange product launches and distribute promotional material.
