Purpose of the Role:

Clover seeks a Sales Representative to operate in channels/outlets where no Clover Merchandisers or Shelf Packers are employed, including service stations, FSI, and the bottom end of the trade.


Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Fluent in Business English.
    • Valid Code 10 motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Relations:

  • Increase sales volumes in assigned stores.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Provide service to customers through effective sales processes.
  • Support customers with appropriate sales procedures.
  • Introduce measures to address customer needs.
  • Ensure constant stock availability and minimize returns.
  • Maintain product facings.

Planning and Administration:

  • Prepare and adhere to route plans and call cycles.
  • Complete sales administration tasks accurately.
  • Liaise with customers at the store level.
  • Monitor and report on sales volumes and pricing trends.
  • Record and report on sales per outlet and product category.

Product and Promotion Management:

  • Implement negotiated pricing agreements.
  • Optimize the basket of principal products.
  • Negotiate the introduction of new products and principals.
  • Arrange product launches and promotional material distribution.
