Job Overview

The Technician – Dalton role is a permanent, skilled-level opportunity focused on the repair and maintenance of agricultural and related equipment. Key Responsibilities

As a Technician at AFGRI Dalton, you will be responsible for:

  • Repairs and Maintenance

    • Perform repair and maintenance tasks on tractors, implements, and related agricultural equipment.

    • Ensure that all technical work meets company and industry standards.

  • Customer Service and Support

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

    • Respond to customer queries and complaints promptly, ensuring issues are resolved within the required turnaround time.

  • Administration and Reporting

    • Accurately complete and update job cards for all work performed.

    • Provide feedback on service outcomes to supervisors and clients.

  • Health and Safety Compliance

    • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed.

    • Ensure compliance with company health and safety regulations.


Minimum Requirements

Education and Training

  • N2 qualification as a Technician.

Work Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, including time spent as an Apprentice.


Technical Knowledge and Competencies

  • Valid driver’s licence.

  • Strong technical knowledge of tractors and agricultural equipment.

  • Good product knowledge for repairs and maintenance.

  • Effective time management and punctuality.

  • Strong communication skills.
