We are seeking a Senior Store Manager for our busy Kuruman branch to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and maintain high customer service standards.


Position Overview

The Senior Store Manager will oversee the overall operation of the Pedros restaurant/take-away, ensuring adherence to brand standards, food quality, and operational procedures. The role is ideal for a motivated, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong leadership and management capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall store operations to achieve sales, gross profit (GP%), and operational targets
  • Ensure adherence to Pedros Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food quality standards
  • Oversee stock control, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Handle customer complaints and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Lead, coach, and manage store staff, including rostering, discipline, and performance evaluation
  • Conduct daily opening and closing procedures for the store
  • Implement marketing and promotional activities to drive sales growth
  • Conduct staff training and regular structured team meetings
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Support recruitment and selection, staff development, and productivity initiatives

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant or fast-food management
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial principles (advantageous)
  • Strong management, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
