Position Overview
The Retail Associate plays a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers while supporting store operations, stock control, and administrative tasks. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates eager to launch a career in retail management.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Manage stock control, including monitoring inventory and replenishment
- Operate shop electronics such as tills, scanners, and card machines
- Support store administration tasks as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including shift work
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience & Skills
- Basic experience with shop electronics (tills, scanners, card machines)
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Computer literacy preferred
- Previous stock control experience advantageous
