Position Overview
The Learning & Development Specialist at TWK Agri in Pretoria will manage the organisation’s learning and development function, ensuring training programmes are effective, compliant, and aligned with SETA and B-BBEE Skills Development requirements. This role is crucial in enhancing employee performance, supporting organisational goals, and maintaining excellence in talent development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement training and development programmes, including mandatory, technical, and customised courses
- Manage study assistance, bursaries, learnerships, apprenticeships, and graduate programmes
- Oversee SETA compliance, skills development projects, and B-BBEE requirements
- Maintain accurate training and financial records in HR systems such as SAGE300, BEE123, and LMS
- Process training invoices and ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Prepare data and documentation for B-BBEE Skills Development verification
- Administer and coordinate the full performance management cycle, supporting managers with system updates and documentation
- Facilitate and maintain job profiling aligned with organisational structures and job evaluation
- Support HR-related projects and initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, managers, learners, and external stakeholders
- Proactively resolve queries, identify improvements, and meet all project deadlines
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Learning & Development, or related field
- Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) certification or equivalent is advantageous
- 3–5 years’ experience in learning and development, training coordination, and SETA-related processes
- Proven experience managing learnerships, bursaries, or graduate programmes
- Strong understanding of SETA submissions, WSP/ATR requirements, and B-BBEE Skills Development elements
- Experience in performance management processes and HRIS administration
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems (SAGE300, BEE123, LMS platforms)
- High level of accuracy in data capturing, reporting, and invoice processing
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license and willingness to travel
