Position Overview
The Forklift Driver role is ideal for candidates seeking warehouse jobs, logistics driving roles, or forklift operator vacancies in the Eastern Cape.
You will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, offload, move, and store stock safely and efficiently within the warehouse or yard environment.
This role is suitable for individuals who are safety-conscious, physically fit, and experienced in warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operations
- Safely load and offload stock using a forklift
- Move and store goods within the warehouse or yard
- Ensure accurate handling of stock at all times
Stock Handling & Documentation
- Complete required paperwork during loading and offloading
- Assist with stock picking and placement
- Ensure correct stock is handled according to instructions
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain compliance with warehouse operational standards
- Report any incidents or equipment issues
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Must be literate
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a forklift driver
