Position Overview
The Junior Branch Marketer role is ideal for candidates seeking entry-level marketing jobs, retail sales positions, or agricultural customer service careers in South Africa.
You will be responsible for selling merchandise, marketing agricultural products, managing stock, and supporting customer service operations within the retail branch.
This role is suitable for individuals who are sales-driven, customer-focused, and eager to grow in the agricultural retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
- Sell merchandise according to set targets
- Market agricultural commodities to customers
- Promote products effectively to improve sales performance
Stock Management
- Monitor and manage stock levels
- Place and manage stock orders
- Ensure product availability for customers
Customer Service
- Provide excellent service to walk-in customers
- Assist clients via phone and email
- Resolve customer queries professionally
General Duties
- Perform ad hoc branch-related tasks
- Support daily retail operations
- Work closely with team members to achieve branch targets
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
Experience & Skills
- Experience in agricultural retail (advantageous)
- Knowledge of irrigation systems or electrical equipment (advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Sales and marketing orientation
- Willingness to undergo continuous training
