Position Overview
The General Worker: Floor (SPAR Postmasburg) role is ideal for candidates seeking entry-level retail jobs in the Northern Cape, supermarket floor assistant positions, or general worker vacancies in South Africa.
You will be responsible for ensuring the store floor is clean, well-organised, and properly stocked, while also delivering excellent customer service and supporting daily retail operations.
This role is suitable for individuals who are reliable, physically fit, and committed to maintaining high store standards.
Key Responsibilities
Store Floor Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping standards
- Ensure shelves and displays are neat and properly arranged
- Keep the store floor organised at all times
Stock Management
- Replenish and arrange stock according to store layouts
- Assist with stock counting and ordering
- Ensure correct product placement and availability
Customer Service
- Provide excellent service to customers
- Assist customers with basic enquiries
- Maintain a professional and friendly store environment
General Duties
- Follow instructions accurately (verbal and written)
- Work effectively within a team
- Adapt to changing store needs and procedures
Minimum Requirements
