Position Overview

Bidvest Prestige is currently seeking a skilled IBMS Operator (Supervisor) to join its Western Cape operations. This role focuses on monitoring and managing Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) to ensure optimal performance of building operations.

Key Responsibilities

IBMS Monitoring & Operations

  • Monitor and operate Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS)
  • Ensure optimal performance of all building automation systems
  • Respond to system alarms and alerts promptly

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Perform routine maintenance on building systems
  • Diagnose and resolve technical system issues
  • Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate reports on system performance
  • Analyse operational data for efficiency improvements
  • Maintain accurate system logs and documentation

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Follow operational standards for building management systems

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Matric preferred)
  • Experience working with IBMS or building automation systems
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding of building system operations

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Requirements

  • Certification in building automation systems or related field
  • Experience in facilities management or building maintenance
