Position Overview: Cashier – VKB Retail (Delmas)
VKB Group is seeking a Cashier for its retail store in Delmas. This role is ideal for a friendly, accurate, and energetic individual who enjoys customer service and handling cash transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.
You will be responsible for managing all paypoint transactions, ensuring accuracy, honesty, and excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Process paypoint sales accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Handle cash and card transactions from customers
- Process receipts and allocate payments correctly
- Perform daily banking of cash and cheques
- Assist with basic back-office administrative tasks
- Maintain accuracy in all financial transactions
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Strong numerical ability
- Honest, reliable, and presentable
- Fast, energetic, and accurate working style
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Strong customer service skills
