Position Overview: Cashier – VKB Retail (Memel)

VKB Group is seeking a Cashier for its retail store in Memel.

This role is ideal for a reliable, friendly, and energetic individual who enjoys working with people and handling financial transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will be responsible for managing all cash and card transactions accurately while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process paypoint sales accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Handle cash and card payments from customers
  • Process receipts and allocate payments correctly
  • Perform daily banking of cash and cheques
  • Assist with back-office administrative tasks
  • Maintain accuracy in all financial transactions
  • Handle customer queries professionally

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Previous cashier or retail experience advantageous
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Honest, reliable, and presentable
