Position Overview
VW Sandton is seeking two experienced Sales Executives for Pre-owned Vehicles to join their dynamic sales team.
This role is ideal for driven, target-focused individuals with a passion for automotive sales and strong customer relationship skills. The successful candidates will be responsible for generating vehicle sales, engaging customers, and achieving monthly sales targets in a fast-paced dealership environment.
You will play a key role in promoting pre-owned VW vehicles while delivering a premium customer experience from first contact to final sale.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Sales & Customer Engagement
- Identify and approach potential customers to promote pre-owned vehicles
- Provide detailed information on vehicles, pricing, financing, and warranties
- Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle features professionally
Sales Execution
- Negotiate pricing and close sales transactions efficiently
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
- Ensure smooth and timely completion of all sales processes
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong long-term customer relationships
- Encourage repeat business and customer referrals
- Maintain excellent customer service standards throughout the sales process
Product Knowledge & Market Awareness
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VW pre-owned vehicles
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings
- Provide accurate and confident product advice to customers
Administration & Reporting
- Complete required sales documentation accurately
- Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Support dealership reporting requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive sales or similar sales environment (essential)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Valid driver’s licence (essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong negotiation and closing ability
- EE status requirement (only open to EE candidates)
