Position Overview: Fuel Attendant (Entry-Level Jobs South Africa)
VKB Fuels is looking for a dedicated Fuel Attendant to join its Vrede team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking entry-level jobs in retail, fuel stations, and customer service.
The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring accurate fuel dispensing, and maintaining safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the fuel station
- Dispense fuel accurately based on customer and vehicle requirements
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly
- Balance fuel sales at the end of each shift
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the forecourt and work environment
- Assist customers with basic vehicle needs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Strong numerical ability (cash handling and balancing)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Clean criminal record
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
