Job Description
Empact Group, a leader in the Chemicals industry, is seeking a skilled Facilitator (Trainer), Assessor & Moderator for our Hygiene & Cleaning division. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Learnership training, assessing and moderating Learnership programs, and facilitating on-the-job training. This role ensures that employees and learners acquire the necessary skills and competencies to meet the organisation’s objectives.
Education and Experience
- Qualifications:
- Matric
- Further education and training certificate: ODETD (Minimum NQF Level 4) is advantageous
- Registered as an Assessor and Moderator at SSETA for:
- SAQA ID – 57937, NQF Level 1
- SAQA ID – 36233, NQF Level 2
- SAQA ID – 20175, NQF Level 3
- Hygiene and Cleaning related qualifications and practical experience in the cleaning industry
- Experience: Own vehicle is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Technical Skills:
- Good numeric and administrative skills
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Soft Skills:
- Good planning, leading, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills and excellent people management skills
- Well-groomed, proactive, and takes initiative
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Training & Facilitation:
- Achieve facilitation, assessment, moderating, and other targets
- Deliver appropriate training to employees, learners, and other stakeholders
- Devise and utilise a scheme of work and lesson plans
- Assessment & Moderation:
- Conduct assessments, post-course evaluations, and write reports
- Maintain required training records
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with training partners to ensure the business meets all training standards and criteria
- Attend stakeholder meetings
- Compliance & Best Practices:
- Maintain accreditation and registration with quality assessment partners
- Keep updated with best practices, market trends, and new business opportunities
