Objective:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to ensure our food production facility remains in top condition. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining hygiene standards, adhering to food safety regulations, and keeping the production environment in line with health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the production areas to meet food safety and workplace hygiene standards.
• Perform housekeeping tasks including scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of ceilings, vents, and restrooms.
• Ensure all cleaning documentation is up-to-date and complete.
• Handle special cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning and project-based cleaning.
• Notify management of repair needs or deficiencies.
• Comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Empty waste bins and manage waste disposal according to guidelines.
• Refill dispensers for hand sanitizers, paper towels, and soap to maintain hygiene compliance.

Requirements:

• Grade 12/Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial cleaning, preferably in the food industry.
• Ability to work in cold environments and handle cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is an advantage.
• Physically fit, proactive, and able to follow instructions effectively.
• Able to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
• Understanding of food safety protocols and cleaning best practices in industrial settings.
