Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation:
    • Make outbound cold calls to generate leads.
    • Capture client details and share them with the assigned Sales team.
    • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets as set by key performance indicators (KPIs) in the Call Centre.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Handle and resolve client queries promptly.
    • Log client requests and ensure follow-up.
    • Provide feedback to Business Development Managers and Sales Directors.
  • Market Research:
    • Research prospects to identify suitable divisions for appointments.
    • Gather and analyze market data on potential clients.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
    • Communicate feedback to C-Suite leaders both internally and externally.
    • Motivate the team by sharing insights and assisting with securing appointments.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer rapport and superior communication skills.
  • Strong telephone and email etiquette.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle objections.
  • Resilience and target-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of the equipment, materials, and suppliers used in facilities management.
  • Ability to deal with irate customers and maintain professionalism.
  • Understanding of services environments (such as cleaning, catering, facilities management, and security) is advantageous but not required.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Minimum Grade 12. An appropriate tertiary qualification is an added advantage.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in an outbound call centre environment.
    • An understanding of a service environment is advantageous.
