Role Overview

As a Forklift Driver, your primary responsibility will be to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to load and unload stock. You will also assist with picking and organizing inventory, and you must adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workplace. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as you will complete necessary paperwork and ensure all goods are handled with care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock Handling:
   • Load and pick stock efficiently, adhering to established safety guidelines. This includes moving goods around the warehouse and ensuring they are stored in the correct locations.
2. Loading and Unloading:
   • Handle loading and unloading tasks with accuracy and care. This involves preparing shipments for delivery, checking inventory against paperwork, and organizing items for transport.
3. Paperwork Completion:
   • Complete all required documentation accurately, including checklists and logs for each load. Ensuring that records are properly maintained is essential for effective stock management and tracking.
4. Adherence to Safety Regulations:
   • Strictly follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Safety is a priority at TWK Agri, and compliance with regulations is essential to protect yourself and your colleagues.
5. Warehouse Organization:

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Requirements:
  • A minimum of Matric/Grade 12 is required for this role.
• Forklift License:
  • A valid forklift operator’s license is essential. Only candidates who meet this requirement will be considered for the position.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a forklift driver is required. Experience in an agricultural or industrial setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Literacy:
  • Candidates must be literate, with the ability to read and complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
